Why Google Pixel Buds are a no-no with ADHD

Ok fun fact, I probably have ADHD. I lose things a lot.

I held off getting in-ear phones for this reason for YEARS. Anything over a $100 is a hard no because I’d lose them.

Then I got a Pixel 5 phone and I started reading good things about Pixel Buds. Like how they could translate a different language in my ear (not that many of us can travel recently). How they can be tapped to pause, play and so on. How they are comfortable, come in different sizes and don’t fall out of your ears easily. And so on. All the other regular things that earphones do.

I held off for a long time because of my price sensitivity and certain knowledge I’d lose them eventually. And then along came the Pixel Bud A series which were cheaper. I had also discovered that the earphones, if misplaced, as would definitely happen, could be pinged and linked to Google’s Find My Device. Happy days. Risk mitigation!

(I know AirPods have the same functionality but I am not an iPhone user.)

I went ahead and bought the A series Pixel Buds and I admit I was pleased with them. I know it’s not a big thing to have a pair of in-earphones but for me, it felt like a big deal. I could do my online meetings without wearing a big pair of cans on…
